https://youtu.be/nTRFHsR_DMU Norwalk, CT – April 24, 2025 – At 11:46 PM Thursday night, Norwalk Police responded to the CITGO gas station at 128 Connecticut Avenue after receiving reports that a taxi driver had been assaulted by three individuals. When officers arrived on scene, they separated the involved parties and began their investigation. The taxi driver had suffered lacerations to the left side of his face after being punched and struck with a gas station squeegee. Medical aid was requested. According to police, the suspects refused to pay their cab fare, assaulted the driver, and stole personal items from the taxi. Surveillance footage and witness accounts supported the claims. Vape Shop Search Warrant Leads to Arrest

On April 22, 2025, Norwalk Police served a search and seizure warrant at Clever Smoke Shop on New Canaan Avenue as part of an ongoing investigation into unlicensed cannabis sales. Officers found pre-wrapped marijuana cigarettes, edibles, and vape products concealed in a storage cabinet hidden behind beverage boxes, along with $7,030 in cash. Seized items included 287 pre-rolled cigarettes, 50 marijuana flower pouches, 215 illegal vape pens, 49 THC edibles, and nearly 39 pounds of packaged marijuana. Following the investigation, 37-year-old Nileshkumar Patel of Freeport, NY, was arrested and charged with possession and possession with intent to sell over 1kg of marijuana product.

Westport, CT – Westport Police have arrested 38-year-old Albert Steven Bermudez Ocampo of Westport following an investigation into a hidden camera discovered in a shared apartment bathroom. On April 2nd, 2025, a complainant reported finding the hidden camera, which had allegedly recorded them using the bathroom without consent. The apartment was shared with a married couple.
