Westport News: Breach Of Peace After Spraying Up Restaurant

Here are the details on a story we were first to tell you last week: #Westport CT--On 04/20/2017 at approximately 1:00pm, Westport Officers were dispatched to 265 Riverside Avenue, Juniors, on a report of a man who entered the restaurant and caused a disturbance. The business owner stated that a man entered the restaurant and was attempting to sell a cleaning product. The male suspect was later identified as Michael Hicks. The owner stated Hicks was moving around the restaurant spraying the cleaning product on multiple surfaces including the grill area. Norwalk News: Triple Shooting

Norwalk Detectives are investigating a triple shooting that occurred April 13, 2017 at 10:40 p.m. on Chapel Street. Initially officers responded to a report of shots fired on Chapel Street and located a crime scene but no victims. The Norwalk Hospital then reported two male victims had arrived by private vehicle. A short time later, a third male victim arrived at the Norwalk Hospital. All three victims suffered non-life threatening injuries. The Crime Scene Unit processed the scene on Chapel Street, which was closed temporarily. Additional patrols have been assigned to the area. #Norwalk News: The Norwalk Department of Police Service currently holds (4) arrest warrants for Rashel Williams, date of birth May 25, 1981. The warrants charged Williams with larceny, ID theft, credit card fraud and forgery. Recently Williams worked at a local doctor’s office as a receptionist. Norwalk New: Threats Made At BMHS

On March 7, 2017, Brien McMahon High School (BMHS) Administration contacted the School Resource Officer assigned to BMHS regarding a threats complaint involving a BMHS student. The student had made an illustration that was perceived as threatening towards other students and staff. The student also made a list of students and staff who might be the subject of the threat. The School Resource Officer and Investigators from the Special Victims Unit immediately initiated an investigation and were able to obtain the aforementioned illustration and list. Investigators subsequently arrested the student and determined that the student did not have the means by which to carry out the threat.
