Trumbull News: Juvenile Apprehended In Car Thefts

#Trumbull CT--A 17-year old Stratford resident was apprehended and a second un-identified youth escaped early Sunday morning as they were checking unlocked cars parked on Jerusalem Hill. They fled when Police arrived but the one male was located hiding nearby. On April 23, 2017, shortly after 5:00 a.m., a resident on Jerusalem Hill called Police when he saw two males attempting to enter parked cars. The resident directed an arriving Officer to where he saw the males running. The resident and the officer then found one suspect hiding in a nearby driveway, the other suspect was not located. #Trumbull CT---On Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Trumbull Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will provide the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Anyone may bring pills for disposal to the parking lot of Daniels Farm School at 710 Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull. (The DEA cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches.) The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. Trumbull News: Children Robbed

#Trumbull CT--On April 10, 2017 at 1:30 p.m., two juveniles were assaulted and robbed of their bicycles and an I-Phone at the Royce Apartments in Trumbull by two unknown juvenile suspects. Both boys suffered minor injuries. The boys (both age twelve) were riding their bikes on “The Royce of Trumbull” property located off Old Town Road. Two other juvenile males who said they wanted to ride the boy’s bikes approached the boys. When the boys said “no” the suspects punched the boys and shoved them off their bikes.
