What was priceless was Andre and his staff's knowledge. Even if I had the appointment, Andre discovered that the title to the DoingItLocalmobile was filled out incorrectly, by the dealer no less. Bridgeport, CT – The City of Bridgeport has announced that the Department of Public Facilities will begin milling and road paving throughout the City beginning Monday, October 7, 2024. Milling and paving will begin in the 139th District and will continue throughout various neighborhoods, finishing in the 136th District. Shelton Man Stopped for Reckless Driving on RT 8 in Bridgeport, Leads to Criminal Impersonation Arrest

A Shelton man was arrested for criminal impersonation following a reckless driving stop on Route 8 in Bridgeport on 09/24/2024 at approximately 10:58 AM. A Trooper from the CSP Traffic Services Unit observed a gray Nissan Versa entering the highway from the Northbound exit 3 ramp at an extremely high rate of speed, merging across several lanes. The Trooper clocked the vehicle's speed at 90 MPH in a 65 MPH zone and activated emergency lights, prompting the driver to pull over to the right shoulder. On September 25, 2024, the Shelton Police Department arrested 21-year-old Jgai Purcell of Shelton. The arrest stems from an incident that occurred on August 8, 2024, at the Riverwalk located on Canal Street in Shelton. On that date, a 47-year-old woman reported she was walking her dog at the Riverwalk when a man approached her and stated he wanted to get to know her. Police Investigate Lordship Home Invasion, Suspects Arrested Across Multiple States

On July 15, 2024, Stratford Police responded to a home invasion in the Lordship section of town. Several suspects entered the occupied home in the early morning hours, stealing the victim's vehicle and other valuables. They also removed registration plates from other vehicles in the neighborhood. The investigation was taken over by the Narcotics, Vice, and Intelligence Unit, along with the Fairfield County Auto Theft Task Force. With assistance from the Connecticut Juvenile Probation Division, police departments in Sayreville, NJ, New York City, and New Jersey State Police, the main suspect was identified as 18-year-old Ryeim Robinson from Newark, NJ, who is connected to similar incidents across Fairfield County and beyond.
