#Bridgeport CT--The City of Bridgeport will roll back to Phase two guidelines and implement stricter enforcement due to a rise in COVID-19 cases. Effectively immediately, City of Bridgeport COVID-19 Closure Policy requires food service establishments to end indoor dining services at 10pm and close by 11pm.  Additionally, any business operating under “indoor recreation sector rules” must close by 11pm. Fairfield News: Go Big or GOURD home!

Fairfield Warde High School Marketing students gave the school “pumpkin” to talk about this week!  The students came together to create the Annual Warde Great Pumpkin Patch.  Students were asked to prepare and organize a marketing campaign for an existing product. They investigated and evaluated a product’s SWOT & PEST Analysis, Marketing Mix, Marketing Segmentation, and Competitive Position using a variety of research tools and methodologies.  Using their creativity, they were challenged to transform existing ideas and knowledge into new ideas using a pumpkin and making it resemble the existing product or service.

State Senator Tony Hwang joins Operation Hope's Executive Director Carla Miklos to announce the approval of $30,000 in state’s Interest on Real Estate Broker’s Trust Account (IOREBTA) grant funding to support mortgage foreclosure counseling services provided by Operation Hope throughout Fairfield County. There has been a 300% increase of possible evictions since last year. The landlords that count on rent money are facing foreclosure due to the loss of rental income. Bridgeport News: Communicable Disease Clinic Closed

Bridgeport, CT – Health Director Lisa Morrissey announced the temporary closure of the Communicable Disease Clinic until November 10, 2020.  Officials have been notified that two city employees have tested positive for COVID-19.   The closure follows quarantine and isolation protocols with precautionary measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 within the offices and among personnel.  Contact tracing has begun and is extended to visitors of the clinic that may have been affected.
