#Bridgeport CT-- On Friday, Susan Bysiewicz held a press conference at Margaret E. Morton Government Center to stress the importance importance of the upcoming census.    Bysiewicz said $11 Billion is on the line. This money she said is used for 55 federal programs programs like the federally funded lunch program (SNAP), energy assistance, Medicare, community block grants, health care and much more. Manslaughter Arrest

#Norwalk, CT- Charlie Castillo, 29, of Bridgeport, turned himself in this morning, at the Norwalk Police Department on an active warrant. Castillo, whose charges include Manslaughter 2nd, is being held on a $500,000 court set bond and will be presented in court today.   On August 31, 2019 at 4:27 PM, Norwalk Police Officers and Paramedics responded to a Norwalk residence on the report of an unconscious individual. The individual was rushed to Norwalk Hospital in critical condition. Despite rescue efforts, the victim died later in the day. The investigation continued in the home where officers located suspect narcotic paraphernalia. The Norwalk Detective Division assumed the case. 2nd CT Resident Tests NEGATIVE For Coronavirus

#HARTFORD, CT – Governor Ned Lamont announced that test results from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirm that a second Connecticut patient that has been under investigation for coronavirus has tested negative. This patient was a high school student from China participating in a conference at Yale University in New Haven.   Earlier this week, a Wesleyan student in Middlesex County who was the first patient in the state under investigation for possible exposure also tested negative for the virus. Both patients have tested positive for Influenza Type A.
