Police apprehended a suspect wanted in two armed robberies in the same hour in Bridgeport this evening. They pursued the black Honda on I-95 north into Stratford then back to Bridgeport ending at North Washington and River Street.

Information had surfaced about a Mexican male named “Felix” selling large quantities of cocaine from the store. An investigation involving controlled purchases of cocaine identified “Felix” as Felix Galindo-Castillo, also known as Cocchie. Galindo-Castillo, who had an active federal arrest warrant, was also found to be the founder of the violent Los Vagos Gang based in Mexico. The Annual Vincent Penna Jr Memorial Car Show, hosted by the Italian American Police Society of Southern CT, will be held this Sunday, August 11, 2024, at 148 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT. The car show is raising funds for the Vincent Penna Jr Memorial Scholarship Fund. The scholarship awards funds to the education of local children in the community.
