2023-05-14@12:35pm--#Fairfield CT-- Kings Highway East was closed at Chambers Street as police sorted out a fight at the Calvin United Church of Christ Hall. There were multiple calls for an ambulance to the scene. The people fighting separated and all of a sudden no one knew anything. This is the same hall of Fairfield's last homicide in July 2022 which still remains unsolved.
2023-05-13@11:26pm--Firefighters were called to an apartment building in the 100 block of Pixlee Place for smoke coming from the roof. Firefighters discovered a fire in the attic and the fire went to two alarms to bring more resources to the scene. There were no reported injuries.

2023-05-12@7:34pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters were called to a fire in a bathroom in the 300 block of Parrott Avenue. Firefighter made a quick entry and extinguished the fire and rescued a woman on the second floor who was unable to walk safely out of the building.

On February 17, 2023, 68-year-old Jeffrey Lindo of Bridgeport CT was assaulted at his home during a domestic dispute. Mr. Lindo resided within the 100 block of Charles Street. On February 20, 2023, Mr. Lindo was found unresponsive inside his home and pronounced deceased. On May 10, 2023, The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner contacted the Bridgeport Police Department with the cause and manner of death. The cause of death is Blunt Impact Injury to the Head. The manner of death is Homicide. The Police Department’s deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of Mr. Lindo. #Fairfield CT-- On Friday May 12, 2023 the Fairfield Police Department arrested and charged Glorianne Marie LAGNESE (59) of Fairfield charging her with 48 Counts of Animal Cruelty stemming from an investigation previously reported at her Steep Hill Road home. All animals were seized from her home and are currently being held pending a court order. Lagnese was released after posting $5000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on May 19, 2023.
