2021-06-13@1:30pm– According to witnesses the motorcycle was traveling on Main Street when a car on Salem Street allegedly pulled out into the roadway clipping the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was complaining of leg pain but refused medical treatment.
Shelton News: Homicide
UPDATE: The deceased in the shooting incident at the Marriott Residence Inn in Shelton has been identified as 23 year old Ivan Whyte of Bridgeport. Officers and detectives have been working around the clock on this investigation.
#Shelton CT–On 6-12-21 at approximately 11:33pm, Shelton Police and EMS responded to 1001
Bridgeport Ave, the Marriott Residence Inn, on a report that a male was shot and was in
the parking lot. Personnel arrived and located the male who was pronounced deceased at
the scene. The deceased male was 23 years old from Bridgeport.
This is an active investigation that is being conducted by Shelton Detectives and the
Connecticut State Police Major Crimes Squad. Officials from the Milford State’s
Attorney’s Office also responded to assist with the investigation. Police have cleared the scene at the residence inn, but are still actively investigating this incident. Notification was made to the family and we will be releasing the name of the victim later today.

2021-06-13@12:49am–#Bridgeport CT– Another crash at Olive and Norman Street, this time between a car and motorcycle. The motorcyclist was standing and talking with first responders with possible injury to his left side. The car also hit a parked car.

Stratford News: Bank Robberies Arrest
#Stratford CT– Between October and December of 2020 detectives from Stratford, Fairfield and New Canaan worked collaboratively on bank robbery investigations. Probable cause was developed to arrest Wayne Currier of New Canaan for his role in these robberies.
On 6/11/21 Currier was arrested by Stratford detectives and charged by warrant with the following; Currier was assigned a court date of bond was set at $200,000.R
