Pocketbooks tossed
1:23pm–#Trumbull CT–Police are at Main and Evenyln Street where a couple of pocketbooks were tossed out of a car by two males. One pocketbook contained a breat pump while another contained multiple rewards cards.
ComiConn 2013
Video Report–#Trumbull CT–Thousands turned out, many in full costume for the 2013 ComiConn in Trumbull today. It was the fourth annual, the second in the Trumbull Marriott. There were many things to catch the interest of the comic book super hero. Comic books dating back to probably the very first one to creators of the TV shows were in attendance to sign autographs and meet the fans. Larry Kenny, voice of ThunderCats, Coco Puff bird and Count Chocula. Bob Camp, creator of Ren and Stimpy as well as comic artists were on hand for the fans. A replica of the Batmobile, a Bat Motorcycle even a R2D2 from Star Wars were some of the fun toys fan were able to pose with. For me it was just watching those dressed in costume playing in character. I had to laugh at many who thought what I was wearing was a costume for the event. The only thing different I was wear a Superman shirt underneath a white dress shirt like Clark Kent truing into Superman. My fedora with my press pass is my everyday costume for reporting. Many seemed surprised when i set the camera down and did a real interview. It was a really fun day! My two teen kids had a great time too!
Multiple ambulances to Mayfair Court Health Care
5:34pm–#Trumbull CT–Three ambulances have been called to Mayfair Health Care on Mayfair Court for a smoke condition in room 308. 3 people have smoke inhalation including a pregnant woman.
Mayfair Health Care Center Evacuated
5:14pm–#Trumbull CT–Firefighters are on scene at 218 Mayfair Court, Mayfair Health Care for a smoke condition in room 308. Per protocol the facility has been evacuated until they find the cause of the smoke condition.
Trumbull manhunt
2:00pm–#Trumbull CT– Police are looking for a “combative youth” and searching the neighborhood around the Trumbull Mall for him.
Car down embankment in Trumbull
12:30am–#Trumbull CT– Car crash down an embankment on Churchill Road between Daniels Farm and Middlebrooks Avenue. First responders on the way.
Rollover on the Merritt
1:01am–#Trumbull CT–#cttraffic–Report of a rollover accident northbound near exit 48 on the Merritt Parkway. Trumbull Police on scene confirming the driver is safely out of the vehicle. EMS dispatched as a precautionary, the driver is not complaining of any injuries at this time.
