UPDATE: Sad to report the man who was found by his friend under his pickup truck has died. Assistant Fire Chief Scott Bisson told me he was not pinned under the truck but he was bleeding from the head. Milford News: Fire Systems Prevent CT Post Mall Fire
11:30pm--#Milford CT--Firefighters were called to an activated fire alarm at the Connecticut Post Mall at 1201 Boston Post Road. The first alarm they discovered at a store at called Route 21, a water flow alarm. Firefighters discovered the sprinkler system was activated. After further investigation they discovered there was a stove fire at Carrabba's which caused the sprinkler systems to activate and put out the fire. This report sponsored by:

Stratford Police Need Your Help
#Stratford CT--On Wednesday, March 11th a shoplifting occurred at the Stop&Shop located on East Main Street in Stratford. The suspect fled the scene and led officers on a short pursuit which was terminated. The suspect is pictured below and this department is looking for help in identifying the person of interest. He is described as a white male, in his 40’s. He was last seen wearing kaki pants and a blue/white checkered shirt. He left the scene driving a late model Chevrolet pickup truck. The truck was green in color but the driver side door was discolored. The license plate displayed on the truck, CT 2424DA was a stolen license plate.
