Route 8/25 Jumper Stopped by Police

1:50am--#Bridgeport CT--How about some likes for Bridgeport Police who were able to prevent a woman who was about to jump off the Washington/Highland Street Bridge onto Route 8/25 into traffic.  Police called for state police to shutdown the highway.  The woman's feet was dangling over the bridge and Bridgeport Police got her back onto the bridge.  She is being transported to the hospital by EMS now.  Great job officers!

Southwest Community Health Center Serves Our Community

The Southwest Community Heath Center on Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport conducted a health care fair today after being rained out yesterday.
