Bridgeport News: Grenade Found On Street

Bridgeport ECC received a call regarding suspicious objects in the 200th block of Testiny Ave. The Bridgeport Police Department, Fire Department, and CT State Police Department responded to the scene. The CT State Police Department safely removed the object, believed to be a grenade, with no threat to the public reported. Further information is not available at this time.

Westport, CT –The Westport Youth Commission is proud to announce the launch of a new employment platform specifically for high school students. Youth Services Program Director Kevin Godburn said, " Our student leaders pursued a new teen job platform after speaking with their peers who reported having found babysitting, dog-walking, and retail roles through word of mouth or the odd flier nailed to a pole. Norwalk News: Stabber Arrested

On April 26, 2024, at 3:00 PM, Norwalk Combined Dispatch received a call for a man stabbed inthe area of 129 South Main Street. Norwalk Patrol Officers arrived in less than one minute andfound the victim being treated by a bystander. Officers rendered medical aid to the victim whowas soon transported to Norwalk Hospital by Norwalk Paramedics for serious injuries. Officerssecured the crime scene and began to canvass for witnesses. Norwalk Police Detectives arrived and assumed the investigation. Detectives recovered multipleitems of evidentiary value, interviewed witnesses and reviewed video surveillance. As a result,detectives were able to identify Gregory Goldstein as the person responsible for the stabbing.Goldstein was reported to have left the scene in a Honda Odyssey minivan. Bridgeport News: Weekend Stabbing Updates

Yesterday, at 11:17PM, There was a report of an assault with a weapon on the 1200 Block of Park Avenue. A female was stabbed with a knife injury to the thigh with non-life-threatening injuries.Roughly an hour later, at at 12:02 am there was a report of a house fight/ assault with a weapon at the 700 Block of Iranistan Avenue. Reports about multiple people fighting outside and one person who was stabbed. St. Vincent’s reported 3 walk-ins with injuries: one head laceration, and two with cuts and bruises.

Shelton News: Shelton man sexually assaults Neighbor

On 04/24/2024 the Shelton Police received a complaint from a 29-year-old female that her next-door neighbor had sexually assaulted her. The female stated she went next door to 76-year-old Dennis Barry’s house to see if her package was mistakenly delivered to him. She claimed while there Barry inappropriately kissed her and fondled her breasts. The female also claimed that Barry tried to get her to touch his genital area.Barry was arrested and charged with Sexual Assault 4th Degree. Barry was released on a $2500.00 bond and as part of his conditions of release, he is to have no contact with the female neighbor. Barry was given a Derby Superior court date of 4/29/2024.

Stratford News: Brittany Rondeau Wanted for Armed Robbery, Considered Armed and Dangerous

The Stratford Police Department Narcotics and Vice Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Brittany Rondeau, who is the subject of an outstanding felony robbery arrest warrant.  The warrant stems from an incident on March 19, 2024, at the Stratford Motor Inn on 2200 Stratford Avenue, where a victim reported being robbed at gunpoint of a bank bag containing cash and personal belongings by two males and one female.  Following an investigation, two male suspects, Jack Madison and Courtney Estaba, were arrested and charged with various offenses related to the robbery.
