2023-03-24 #Norwalk CT--A staff member at Brookside Elementary School was arrested for assaulting three fifth-grade students. On February 24, 2023, the Norwalk Public Schools contacted the Norwalk Police Department about the incident. Stefanie Sanabria, a Math Coach, put a martial arts chokehold on the students in class, causing one to lose consciousness. The School Nurse helped the unconscious student right away. The police started investigating and found out what had happened. On March 3, 2023, the police issued an arrest warrant for Sanabria. #Norwalk CT-- Over the course of the last year the Special Services Division of the Norwalk Police Department conducted a long-term investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics and firearms from Ivy Place, Norwalk. Investigators identified Tylon Dubose as the narcotics and firearms trafficker. As a result of the investigation seven arrest warrants were issued for Dubose and a search warrant was issued for his residence. On February 22, 2023, Tylon Dubose was arrested and charged with seven arrest warrants. The Special Services Division with the assistance of the Tactical Response Team then executed a search warrant at Ivy Place. On February 20, 2023 at 6:17 p.m., Norwalk Combined Dispatch received a 911 call of an individual has sustained a gunshot within a residence on Dry Hill Road. Multiple Norwalk Police Officers rushed to the scene, along with paramedics and fire personnel. Upon arrival, officers searched the scene, located a male victim, and secured a handgun. The male was provided emergency medical aid, and rushed to Norwalk Hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries. Detectives arrived on the scene and initiated an investigation. #Norwalk CT--On January 6, 2023, at 11:51pm, the Norwalk Combined Dispatch received several 911 calls reporting shots fired in the Garner Street area. Responding Patrol Division Officers discovered evidence that shots had been fired, and thankfully no one was injured. The Norwalk Police Detective Bureau assumed the investigation and determined that multiple suspects had fired shots at a victim on Garner Street. Based upon their investigation, arrest warrants were issued for two suspects. On February 7, 2023, the Norwalk Police Special Services Division and the Tactical Response Team served two arrest warrants on Donald “Showbizz” Flamer and executed a search seizure warrant at his residence on Ely Avenue apartment 2B Norwalk. The warrants are the result of a year-long investigation into continuing narcotics trafficking by Donald Flamer. Flamer is currently out on bond from an April 13, 2022, narcotics arrest. Flamer posted bail on April 13, 2022, and had conditions of release placed on him.
