The responding firefighters reported that about 15-20 dirt bikes were slowing and delaying them from getting to the scene. Police were notified. The bullets found two victims who were both conscious and and talking with paramedics. The extent of their injuries are not know at this time as it is still breaking news.
A Silver Alert has been issued for Sokombi Mwilambwe, who described as a 29 year-old, female who is 5’-5” tall, 220 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black top with a gray sweater and black pants with a white bag and black suitcase. She was last seen on October 4, 2019, on Water Street in Norwalk. She suffers from mental health issues and is endangered. Bridgeport, CT – Mayor Ganim announces that this Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019 from 9:00am-1:00pm the City of Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center will be participating in a Full-Scale Exercise with Sikorsky Aircraft. This exercise is conjunction with the city and Sikorsky to assess emergency preparedness plans in the case of a transportation accident.
