#Bridgeport CT-- The Bridgeport Police Department in collaboration with Department of Children and Families, Center for Family Justice, and Neighborhood Church Black Rock will host an informational session on how parents could ‘Unlock the Secrets of Your Child’s Online World’ in regards to phone app safety. The informational session will be held on May 2, 2019 between the hours of 6:00pm-8:00pm at Iglesia Cristiana Renacer Church on 59 Clinton Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06605. Documentary Screening At Barnum Museum
Christopher Teal will present a screening of his documentary “Ebenezer Bassett: A Diplomat of Consequence” at the Barnum Museum on Sunday, April 14, at 2:00 pm. Westport News: Celtic Ticket Sinks Burglar
#Westport CT-- On 12/26/2018 at approximately 11:00am, officers were dispatched to a Charles Street office building on a report of a burglary. Four office suites were burglarized after the suspect kicked in the doors. Investigators later found physical evidence linking Jeff Lubin, 30, of Providence, Rhode Island, to the crime scenes. One of the businesses, a ticket retailer, reported a Celtics ticket had been stolen. Lubin later posted the stolen ticket for sale on a social media page. An arrest warrant application was submitted for Lubin and later approved. On 03/25/219, Lubin was taken into custody in Rhode Island at the office of probation on the outstanding warrant. Bridgeport News: Fire Melts Siding
2019-03-30 @ 1:19am--Firefighters were called to a house fire on Quinsey Drive. It turned out to be an outside fire that melted the siding of the home. The fire did not extend into the home. If this were a serious fire our sponsor could have made it like it never even happened!
