22-year-old Gerald W. Valle was taken into custody in Pine Prairie, Louisianna on March 8, 2023, and extradited back to Bridgeport, Connecticut to face charges for a violent machete attack that occurred on Central High School property on June 18, 2023. The original press release read: On June 18, 2023, at approximately 8:15 pm Bridgeport Police responded to Central High School (1 Lincoln Blvd) on the report of an assault with a dangerous weapon. Upon arriving in the area, police officers located a 26-year-old Bridgeport man suffering from a very large wound to the abdomen. Pool Room Fire Incident at Homewood Suites
2024-03-09@7:37pm--#Stratford CT-- On March 9, 2024, at 7:37 pm, in Stratford, CT, firefighters responded to a reported fire at Homewood Suites located at 6905 Main Street. The incident originated in the pool room, which appears to be separate from the hotel rooms. Firefighters are currently addressing complications with the electrical system and working to pinpoint the root cause. During their investigation, they uncovered a fire within a wall. The fire marshal has been summoned to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation.

Footloose Fiasco: Alleged Victim Gives Chasing a ‘Toe’-tally Different Twist
Police said on Friday, that the person initially thought to be the victim, a woman, was actually the aggressor in the situation. She was chasing after a man who was trying to leave the area of Villa Place/Villa Avenue. As he drove away, his vehicle reportedly ran over her foot. The woman was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief (CGS 53a-117) and Breach of Peace (CGS 53a-181). The man was arrested and charged with Evading Responsibility (CGS 14-224). Both are considered victims in this case, so their names and identifying information cannot be disclosed at this time
