2020-02-01@5:12pm--#Bridgeport CT-- One person is in custody after a short pursuit in Black Rock section of Bridgeport. Police witnessed the man attempting to assault someone with a baseball bat. One suspect is still at large but the know where he lives. The pursuit went down Fairfield Avenue, down Whitter and the suspect was captured on Scofield for those keeping score.
2020-02-01@#Bridgeport CT--#Fairfield CT-- Fairfield and Bridgeport both received a call for a man in a black wetsuit on a white board. Nothing was found from the marina inlet in Fairfield to the Fayerweather Yacht Club on Brewster Street. There was however a black labrador dog splashing near a white pipe at St. Mary's By The Sea. After an exhaustive search, it was called off.
At 1039hrs the Bridgeport Emergency Communications Center received a call from a party indicating two persons known to each other were in a dispute in the area of the 300th and 400th block of Myrtle Ave. BPD arrived on scene to find a person with stab wounds, that party was immediately transported to the hospital by AMR. At approximately 1042hrs, the BPT ECC received a call of a party at the 500th block of Park Avenue with stab wounds and acting out of control. That party was identified and arrested on-scene as Terrell Culver of Bridgeport who was responsible for the incident on Myrtle Avenue. Then, Jane and Kossuth Street with 15 shots fired followed up by Park and Arctic Street with 6 shots fired. A gray Jeep may be responsible. No one or anything reported hit. #Ansonia CT--On January 28, 2020 at 6:45 P.M. Rajohn Joti-James turned himself in at the Ansonia Police Department for the shooting on July 23, 2019 at the Howard Avenue and Church Street intersection. The Ansonia Police Department Detective Bureau obtained a warrant for Joti-James for his involvement in the shooting. Joti-James was one of two people who shot at each other with Joti-James being shot during the exchange of gunfire. The investigation is still ongoing and more arrests are expected. Rajohn Joti-James, age 21, of Ansonia was charged with Carrying a Pistol without a Permit, and released on a $5,000.00 bond with a court date of February 11, 2020 at Derby Superior Court.
