Bridgeport Police Department Makes Arrest Following Car Chase
#Bridgeport, Conn. (November 10, 2015 Bridgeport Police Press Release) – The Bridgeport Police Department announced the arrest of a man on several criminal and motor vehicle charges following a car chase. Around 12:00 a.m. on Monday, November 9, police officers observed multiple cars stopped in the middle of Rt. 8/25 – near Exit 5 – preparing to illegally street race. Upon activating the police car lights and siren, the vehicles dispersed. However, one vehicle in particular – a white Buick Lacrosse with Virginia plates – left at a very high rate of speed, and swerving across all lanes of the highway.
