Fairfield News: Pickup Hits Car and Two Houses

UPDATE: Fairfield Police Press Release:  On 02/05/2017 at 10:33pm Fairfield Police responded to a motor vehicle crash into a house on Fairfield Beach Rd. Preliminary investigation revealed that Peter L. Jones of Summit, N.J. was operating his 2011 Ford F-150 pick-up truck eastbound on Fairfield Beach Road when he crossed over the center line and went off the left side of the roadway striking a parked vehicle in the driveway of 1054 Fairfield Beach Road. The truck continued through a front yard, and came to rest after striking the front façade of 1024 Fairfield Beach Road. Peter L. Jones was transported to Bridgeport hospital complaining of shoulder pain. This collision is under investigation by the Crash Reconstruction Unit. 10:50pm--#Fairfield Connecticut--…

Senator Murphy Awared Navy Distinguished Public Service Award

WASHINGTON – The United States Navy on Wednesday awarded U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) with the Navy Distinguished Public Service Award, the “highest form of public service recognition bestowed by the Department of the Navy to civilians who demonstrate outstanding service of substantial and long-term benefit to the Navy, Marine Corps, or Department of the Navy as a whole.” Murphy was presented the award by the Navy’s Chief of Legislative Affairs, Rear Admiral James T.
