Westport Veterans Day Services Announced

#Westport CT--William Vornkahl, President of the Westport Veterans Council announced that the Town of Westport will hold Veterans Day services on Wednesday, November 11 in the Town Hall auditorium. The public is invited. Bridgeport News: Several Displaced In Townhouse Fire

7:28pm--‪#‎Bridgeport‬ CT--Firefighters had to handle two calls at the same time, the first on at 80 Granfield Avenue and then this townhouse fire from about 62 to 76 Alanston Road (between Seaview and Connecticut Avenue). Firefighters had to bust down the doors of about 3 of the doors that I had seen. The fire apparently started in one of the apartments and then spread upward to the second and third floor and then through the attic. There were no reported injuries when I left the scene. At 8:27pm--#Firefighters were ordered to evacuate the building.
