(Westport, CT) On Monday January 6, 2020 at approximately 1:06pm, officers responded to the parking lot of 1137 Post Road East on a report of a stabbing that had occurred at that location. Callers reported that a single male suspect had stabbed a female within the parking lot and had subsequently fled the scene in a vehicle.   Officers and emergency responders located and rendered aid to a female victim that had suffered multiple stab wounds. The victim sustained serious injuries as a result of this incident and was transported to Norwalk Hospital for further treatment. Westport News: Operating Under The Influence

#Westport CT--On Saturday December 21, 2019 at approximately 4:35pm, officers responded to Parker Harding Plaza on a complaint of a multi-vehicle accident that had occurred within the parking lot. Upon arrival it was determined that a vehicle had been traveling the wrong way within the lot. Upon swerving to avoid oncoming traffic, the operator of this vehicle struck a total of three other vehicles that had been parked within the lot. This operator was identified as Fredda Peel. Officer reportedly detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage on Peel’s breath and had her perform a series of field sobriety tests. She reportedly did not perform these tests to standard. Westport News: Fraudulent Check Charges

#Westport CT-- On Monday December 23, 2019 at approximately 4:11pm, officers responded to TD Bank, located at 185 Main Street, on a complaint of a female customer attempting to cash a fraudulent check in the amount of $988.00. Bank employees further reported that prior to this attempt, the bank had received a fraud alert email advising that this same female accompanied two other males had been involved in recent fraudulent activity in neighboring jurisdictions earlier that day. This informational message reported the suspects were traveling in a silver sport utility vehicle. Westport News: Threatening

On Wednesday December 18, 2019 at approximately 4:01pm, a resident came to police headquarters to report that she had received a letter in her mailbox which she construed as threatening in nature. The victim reported that the letter had apparently been hand delivered, as it was not postmarked, and alleged that it had been signed by Scott Fishoff. An investigation into the complaint was subsequently conducted in which Fishoff was interviewed. In the course of that interview, he reportedly did admit to delivering the letter to the victim’s residence. #Westport News: Forgery and Larceny Charges

#Westport CT-- On Monday November 19, 2018 at approximately 2:33pm a resident responded to police headquarters reporting that she had been the victim of fraud. She explained that two withdrawals totaling $2240.00 had been successfully made from her checking account without her authorization. She additionally reported that a third withdrawal had been attempted but not processed in the amount of $1240.00. All three of these transactions had been processed in person at local bank branches. Through investigation which included working with the victim’s bank’s security personnel, two suspects were developed in this incident. Suspects were believed to be traveling in a silver BMW. Several minutes later, on December 12, 2019 at 12:09 AM, a second 911 call was received reporting that two males armed with handguns stole a vehicle and personal items from a victim who had just arrived home in the area of Kettle Road.
