UPDATE: A city official looked into this because "they understand" what people are going through. The parks department and parking officials do no want to ticket anyone during these times. Although most of the parks are gated, they have no issue if you want to park along the beach to walk, including Seaside Park. Police were called to St. Mary's by a resident. 2020-#Bridgeport CT--This morning, members of the Bridgeport Police ESU team assisted Detectives Harper and Santora on executing an arrest and search warrants for Antonio Johnson Jr. DOB: 1/10/93. The arrest warrant stems from an incident with a large group of dirt bikes and quads causing a nuisance on city streets. The suspect Antonio Johnson Jr. DOB: 1/10/93 also threatened a Police Officer and his family. The investigation led to obtaining an arrest warrant, with a $60,000 bond, for various threatening and motor vehicle violations and a search warrant was also obtained seeking items of evidence from the incident. (Hartford) - The Connecticut Department of Housing (DOH) announced today that it has waived its policy of waiting thirty (30) days to implement an income change for the rental assistance program and federal section 8 vouchers. For the next 90 days, families already participating in the programs will have immediate adjustments for rental payment. DOH has also increased our rapid exit and rapid rehousing funding by $735,000 to assist individuals and families leave shelters and find permanent housing. For homeless individuals over the age of 60, DOH has provided funding for 100 hotel rooms to serve 200 elderly homeless. 2020-03-18@3:24pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Wednesday afternoon, police received a call from the Jewish Senior Housing at 4200 Park Avenue that a man came to visit his father and made threats to the staff that he was going to shoot them, according to multiple radio reports. No gun was seen by the staff. Radio reports said he was violating the "Elderly Visiting Rights". When I arrived on the scene a man was seen in the back of a police car talking with the officer. He appeared to be detained but was not handcuffed. I reached out to police for more information but I have not heard back from them.

At approximately 11:39pm on Friday March 13, 2020, officers responded to the apartments located at 7 Post Road West on a noise complaint. The complainant reported loud noises coming from the neighboring apartment consistent with banging on the walls. Within the last week, officers responded to the same location on three other occasions for a complaint of loud music or other excessive noise coming from the same apartment. On two of these occasions the resident of that unit, identified as Tyler Bierman, had been verbally warned about the noise by the responding officers. On the third occasion, which occurred earlier this same evening (approximately 9:44pm on Friday March 13, 2020), Bierman was issued an infraction for creating a public disturbance.…
