BRIDGEPORT PAIR ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY AND LARCENY IN TRUMBULL
Trumbull Police arrested local suspects as they attempted to flee the scene of a burglary to a van on Lindeman Drive during the early morning hours on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Reynaldo Ayala, age 23, and Nyleah Ramos, age 22, both of Berkshire Avenue, Bridgeport, were apprehended by police as they attempted to flee from police on a scooter. At approximately 12:00 AM, Trumbull Police were called to investigate an active burglary in progress involving one of the work trucks on the business property of 30 Lindeman Drive. Norwalk Man Arrested for Sexual Assault and Risk of Injury to a Child
On October 7, 2024, detectives from the Norwalk Police Department’s Special Victim’s Unit arrested 54-year-old Edgar Teque-Ramirez. The investigation, which spanned several months, led to an arrest warrant based on probable cause and the facts of the case. Teque-Ramirez was charged with Sexual Assault in the 4th Degree and Risk of Injury to a Child. The investigation focused on an incident from 2021 involving Teque-Ramirez and a minor. He was arrested without incident. Teque-Ramirez, a resident of Norwalk, was held on a $75,000 bond and is due in court on October 8, 2024.
Stratford Police Arrest Bridgeport Man After Narcotics Pursuit on I-95
https://youtu.be/cqA4uHKhjLs On October 7, 2024, the Stratford Police Department’s Narcotic, Vice, and Intelligence Unit attempted to stop a motor vehicle after observing a possible narcotics transaction in the area of Stratford Avenue. The operator refused to stop and instead engaged the detectives in a pursuit. During the chase, the operator was seen tossing a black plastic bag from the vehicle while entering the southbound ramp to I-95 at exit 31. After a short distance on I-95, the operator eventually pulled over and stopped the vehicle. Detectives identified the driver as Andre McBride of Bridgeport. With the assistance of K9 Vader, the black plastic bag discarded by McBride was recovered nearby and found to contain narcotics and marijuana materials. McBride was…

This was supposed to be a "Isn't your time worth something" post about Mobile Registration. Not having to wait for an appointment at the DMV is another biggie. What was priceless was Andre and his staff's knowledge. Even if I had the appointment, Andre discovered that the title to the DoingItLocalmobile was filled out incorrectly, by the dealer no less. Police UPDATE: At 20:49 hrs Bridgeport ECC received calls of an aggravated assault with a firearm in the 1200 block of Wood Ave. A male victim was shot during a carjacking and transported to the hospital. This is an active investigation at this time. A witness told me that a man was shot during a carjacking on Wood Avenue near West Jackson Avenue.
